Sasha the Cat needs a home
Sasha came to Purrfect Pals after her previous owner was evicted and she was taken in by a neighbor who was unfortunately unable to keep her. Our volunteers have affectionately nicknamed her ?Grumbles? because though she is generally very happy to be petted, she will still talk to you about it! But really she does enjoy attention and was crawling into volunteer laps for snuggles within an hour of arriving in the adoption room - she is such a lover, and can get jealous if anyone else is the center of attention! She has lived with children before and she has so very much energy for play. So we believe she could do well with a family, but as she can sometimes be a bit moody, a home without very young children would be best. Petite and very inquisitive, Sasha has very much enjoyed exploring the adoption room and playing with everything. And she is also very helpful with chores, such as cleaning the windows, feeding the fish, and writing shift reports. Sasha does grumble and hiss a bit when she is confronted by the other cats, but she has not actually been aggressive and in fact seems curious about them, so we still think she could possibly do okay with a compatible cat if introduced carefully. She's also very curious about dogs, so might even actually do better with a compatible canine friend! Sasha does have some hair loss due to flea allergy dermatitis and she will need a monthly flea treatment routinely to prevent her from licking excessively. Sasha is ready for a second chance at a forever home. Like all Purrfect Pals cats, Sasha is microchipped, altered, vaccinated and viral tested.
